Grainy wet or dusty floors may not allow the tiles to stick properly. One product you will need for sticking vinyl floor tiles securely is thin spread adhesive. Place the iron on the aluminum foil applying moderate pressure. Thin spread adhesives can be bought at home improvement stores and online.

Be sure to spray the wall surface with water to activate the glue. Successful application of peel and stick vinyl tile requires an underlayment that is perfectly smooth and clean. A variety of thin spread adhesives are available and many suit both small residential and large commercial projects. If you can easily remove the tile there may be something about your subfloor surface which is unfriendly to the adhesive on your tiles.
