Got both faces boxes and the vinyl set is pretty great. Basically faces are an under rated band who deserve the recognition that this box set shows. Rhino have revealed that the five lp vinyl edition of you can dance sing or anything 1970 75 the forthcoming faces box set will be cut straight from the analogue tapes. Every album they put out is incredible and all are necessary albums for classic rock fans.

You can make me dance sing or anything. This box set is actually a labor of love from their keyboard player ian mclagan who now lives in austin texas. I got the vinyl set last year having previously owned various issues of all the albums on cd. Only played side one of first step so far but i hear warm flat transfer no compression or other concessions to the current marketplace.

This collection of all of their albums is a stunningly superb box set. Ron wood s guitar strokes rather than slashes but i ve been listening to cds for several years in between turntables. If you enjoy this also pick up the faces even better box set of live songs and rarities called five guys walk into a bar which may be the best box set ever created. The vinyl set is fabulous.
