Shake it up is not their best album but it s definitely a favorite of mine. The rock and roll hall of fame inducts the cars in april 2018 honoring the legendary band s incredible musical legacy and enormous commercial success. Shake it up. The original cd pressing of shake it up had reasonable sound quality but nothing compared to it s vinyl counterpart this newly expanded version sounds so compressed it s hard to discern perceive or recognize much of the instruments and the voices sound muffled the jewel case has been replaced by a somewhat wider and flimsy cardboard paper that does not fit into the conventional cd rack that accommodates plastic jewel cases definitely will not be buying any more so called remastered.
